There was some speculation on whether or not the Side-scrolling Adventure RPG would be coming to the Vita, but all was cleared today when Tim Woodley (505 Games) announced it would be heading to the vita this summer. This is yet another acclaimed indie game out of a slew of them that have been announced (Lone Survivor, Limbo, Hotline Miami, to name a few). I for one am very excited to buy this and play it on the go.

With over 200,000 units sold in the last month, and the slew of titles being announced, do you believe that the Vita is finally breaking out of the shell the media has put it in?

Popcap Games has confirmed today that Plants vs. Zombies 2 will be releasing early this summer. With the first doing so well on the Vita and PS3, it's almost a no-brainer (haha) we'll get this on Vita at release or soon after.

Guacamelee! will be releasing on the PSN on April 9th, according to the PS Blog. It will support cross-buy, which means if you buy it on the Vita, you'll get it on the PS3 and vice-versa. And for all you trophy hunters (I know we have at least a few here), there will be a Platinum trophy! Below is a screenshot from the game, as well as a gameplay video.

According to the word around the interwebs, both Limbo and Worms are making their way to the PSVita this year.

If you don't know about Limbo, it's an indie puzzle/platformer with a unique draw style. It was originally released on Live for X-Box, but has since hit Steam and the PSN - and now Vita soon enough.

Worms is a turn-based artillery shooter, and originated in '95 on the Sega Genesis.

Both are expected this year, with specific release dates TBA.

According to a picture floating around the internet from what I assume to be the Game Developers Conference (GDC), Tearaway has been set for release this October.




A game from LittleBigPlanet developer Media Molecule, Tearaway is an origami-inspired title about delivering a special message to you, the player. A unique concept, we're excited to hear more about Tearaway as it hits this October for the PlayStation Vita.
