look for G.Skill or Corsair or Kingston or Crucial (DDR3) (PC3-12800 = 1600MHz) or higher like (PC3-17000 = 2133MHz).. RAMs dont need to be expensive. 2x4GB or 8GB or more
one thing about building a computer is to remember to read and then read some more and compare all the specs, read reviews, and double check everything before you purchase anything
Haha, when I was looking to build a PC a few months ago, I even wanted the same case as him! The NZXT Phantom is so sexy!!
I have to disagree with you there I'm afraid. :/ I don't see the point of having that much extra lol The PC he stated will easily run on around 450W. But i guess to stay future proof, you could be right.
yeah..I spent more on CPU and GPU. It really depends on your intention of upgrading it in the near future, like next year. more powerful GPUs will come out.
New Specs: Motherboard:Asus Crosshair V ($219.99) CPU:AMD FX-8120 3.1 GHZ ($189.99) GPU: Radeon HD 6870
yeah..I was rather think of future proof because Power supply tend to last longer and when you want to upgrade your PC in the future, you wont have to bother anymore about it.
Good good, you're getting somewhere! Figure out all the Watt consumption, and leave about 150W spare just in case you need to crossfire the 6870 in the future. It's a nice back up plan and means you won't have to build a whole new PC in the future when shit like Crysis 3 and Battlefield 4 come out lol
MotherBoard: Asus Crosshair V ( IV is just $20 less...) CPU: AMD FX-1820 EIGHT CORE GPU: Radeon HD 6870 Eyefinity (Multi Monitor) and Crossfire X (Multi GPU Support) (Shoud I get 2 graphics cards?)
