Ive just seen this on another forum...

Are you joking me?... fuck. I was looking forward to the used games market, but shit.. not anymore. The used games market is dead on the Vita....

I guess this is a good thing for developers and encourages them to make more games I guess, as they'll not losed any money to used games... but it's stil a shame!

I've posted about this when it happened to me with Army Corps of Hell. I shared this game with my sister and at first I couldn't earn trophies because she played on her Vita first. I've figured out what you had to do to delete the file. You need to stick the game into the original psv that it was fist played on and delete the game from the livearea screen. Ta Da! All done now the next psv that uses it can earn trophies.

Though my sister is going to need to wait if she wants trophies lol. She can still play it, but can't earn trophies.

oh wow, that's not so bad then... i guess i'll just have to check with the people i buy games from to make sure they've removed the game from their home screen lol.

Ya haha. I think it might be just with games that save on the game cartridges. Dungeon Hunter Alliance and Army Corps of Hell both save on the cartridge and both only allow one person to earn trophies.

It so stupid and greedy if you ask me!

As shitty as it is, I completely understand the extreme measures publishers are taking to crush used game sales.

That sucks. But is it for every game or only certain ones?

I guess when this becomes a huge issue when more and more people start buying used Vita games, and retailers find out about it...it may be a requirement before you can trade in the game to see if Gamestop or other retailers can play it on a "testing" Vita...like to make sure the trader deleted it from their Vita.

As well as they should. Capcom did a thing like this with Resident Evil Mercenaries on the 3DS. People were pisses because once you played and unlocked weapons, if you traded it in and someone played a used copy, those weapons were already unlocked.

If this is a concern I think people should stop buying used games. Depending on the title your saving a few dollars here or there. Not worth taking a risk of any online pass or content issues. I would rather support the developer and publisher anyway rather then a buisness who will give me 10-15 dollars store credit for a game they will turn around and sell almost at full retail.

Yep, there's a work around to this.
You just have to delete all the information on the old VITA, and the new one, and your done. You can earn trophies again!

That doesn't matter, you can still buy them from Amazon,eBay etc.

I dont believe that for a second. The amount of profit in the used game industry is enormous.
