Video game music. I have a bunch of game sound tracks from my favorite series. I don't really listen to normal people music that much.
Everything. Anything from Alternative to Electronic to Americana. As far as bands: Wilco, Radiohead, Nine Inch Nails, Deadmau5, Pretty Lights, Drive-By Truckers, Neon Indian. Basically anyone and everyone who has played Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival.
Hm, I LOVE music. Listen to it hours and hours every day. Favorite genre is EBM and Synthpop. So bands such as: Surgyn, Rotersand, Icon of Coil, And One, Solitary Experiments, Nachtmahr, VNV Nation and about 100 more. But I also love other genres... Psytrance Dubstep Heavy Metal Prog Rock/Metal Classic Rock 80s Pop Dance Hip Hop Reggae Industrial Classical Soundtracks Drum n Bass ...and all sub-genres of these if you like to go into those. Yeah..you get the idea. Music is pretty much my favorite media form. Some of my favorite artists of all time that I come back to no matter what...regularly. Pink Floyd The Cure Infected Mushroom Porcupine Tree Depeche Mode David Bowie But frankly I currently have enough music to play continuously for 135 days and i love it all. haha.
They are pretty damn awesome! I love there early stuff but I just can't think of a rock/metal/prog album I prefer more than In Absentia. Perfection. Plus I love the dark lyrics and theme of the album which isn't apparent immediately. I have over 50,000 songs I know and like (and so many more yet to discover) but In Absentia goes on in full more than any other album I own.
i listen to pretty much everything. just in moderation. i am not one to listen to music all day long. two favorite artists- Papa Roach, Dean Martin.....haha total opposite sides of the spectrum
Mudvayne, Slipknot, Disturbed, Ill Nino, Ten Years, David Bowie, Breaking Benjamins, Seether, Apocalyptica, Skrillex, Almost anything Classical, Fort Minor, Saliva, Monster Magnet, Audioslave, Tool, A Perfect Circle, Black Sabbath, Cold, Creed, CCR, Everlast, Godsmack, Hellyeah, Limp Bizkit, Live, Metallica, Mindless Self Indulgence, Pist-On, Papa Roach, Ours, Rammstein, etc. I purposefully omitted Country/ Western and Hip-Hop/Rap because I generally dont partake. I like to think that I have a broad but focused interest in music and by extension it's genres....I do love classical, and old-school jazz, and a few of the old swing bands.
I am a music lover hands down. As you can see in my profile picture, I love Dream Theater. I listen to a wide array of music, jazz, jazz fusion (well, almost any jazz sub-genre: Al di Meola, Chick Corea and Return to Forever to name some), metal, prog metal, prog death metal (like Opeth and stuff), prog rock (Genesis, Tull, King Crimson, etc.), classic rock, blues, flamenco, classical music (from baroque and so on) and I could go on forever! Bands or Artists (obviously from the mentioned genres) could be Planet X, Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, Liquid Tension Experiment, Miles Davis, Wes Montgomery, Django Reinhardt, Paco de Lucía, etc. I basically like anything that is not pop-ish or Justin Gayber related And yes Priori, it is always nice to see another Porcupine Tree fan
definitely. music nowadays is all about the 'beat'. it doesn't even make sense anymore. all of these party-goers listening to dubstep and whatnot...
Imagine what I feel like, if people miss the music from 2000-2004, I would like music from way back in the 70's to resurface
