Anyone who has an iPhone 4S or knows anyone who does that updated to iOS 5.1, has their battery life improved any? I know the update was supposed to help address this and it added a nifty way to access the camera from the lockscreen, but I can't decide whether or not to bite the bullet and upgrade from 5.0.1 and lose my jailbreak in the process to improve battery life.

Hmmm... Make sure iTunes is the latest version (10.6). If that doesn't help, update the phone through the Software Update section of the Settings. And if that fails.... Try restoring the phone maybe. I don't why you are getting that error.

This will help the battery a little bit, open up settings, location services, system services and turn off "setting timezone" and any other that u think u may not use all that often

It doesn't improve it that much. I just turn off data or 3g when I'm not using it and it helps a bit
