thanks man ...i'm here for ya , and wow that's awful ... cancer is really taking over now a days, it really is a very terrible thing sigh, no need to explain dude you have to do what you have to do. it's unfort. that the situation had to be so terrible though arggg. life can be quite cruel to people.

So when does the contest start and what does it entail?

It will start the between the 25th of this month and the 1st of June, not sure exactly what day yet, but in that window. The contest will be another picture caption style contest. This time around the picture will be based on Gravity Rush. Only this time I will be allowing people to pick or make their own picture as i will not be supplying one. You can post a picture with a funny caption, make a comic strip, design a "demotivational poster", or whatever your immaginations can come up with.... as long as it is based on Gravity Rush and is funny in nature

As far as eligibility requirements.....
must have been a member of these forums by at least the 25th of May
must have a post count of 50 by the 25th of June. That way, new members can still enter the contest, and by the 25th when we pull the top 2-4 entries, if you have at least a post count of 50 by that day, you will be eligible.

1st place ...... 1 game or accessory of your choice. For members with a post count of 100+, you will recieve a 2nd game or accessory of your choice.
2nd place ..... 1 game or accessory of your choice.
Each game or accessory must cost no more that $50 U.S. If you win 1st place and qualify for a 2nd game or accessory, you can choose to take 1 prize up to $100 like a 32GB memory card etc.

Games and accessories must be available at a GameStop local to me by the end of the contest. No rainchecks or pre-orders. Winners must reply with their prize choices within 5 days of end of contest or you will forfeit your winnings and it will go the the next person in line.

To pay out of pocket is extremely generous of you.

I stopped by GameStop today to sell a couple of things and realized that I could purchase gift cards to GameStop/EB Games. Not sure they would work outside the U.S., but it could be an option for winners if they happen to live in the U.S. Basically, if you win a prize, no matter where you live on the globe, you get a game or accessory of your choice, but if you live in the U.S. you could choose to receive a GameStop gift card and go buy whatever you like from a GameStop near you. I guess U.S. members could also take PSN cards as well. Just thoughts. I am also looking into giftcards that can be used outside the U.S. as well because the postage is MUCH cheaper to send a letter with a giftcard in it as apposed to a bulk package. I will keep everyone posted with my findings. Worst case scenario, I can send out physical games and accessories still.

As some of you may know, a new white PS Vita is being released in Asia. If I can manage to get my hands on one over the next couple of months, I will be using it as a prize for that month's contest
