Ok,at first i was all they going to get mvc,but then i wanted strret fighter x tekkn.now i just dont know which one to get, I want tekken because the graphics look super great,and everything else looks real,but i dont know ANY of the characters. I want marvel vs capcom because i know mostly all of the characters.but i just dont like how the graphics look,its not all that bad though. They both look like great games,but im definately not getting both. And i wonder will they bith have online play,i really hope so.
Well I'd assume they'd will have online for the VITA considering the console versions will. I'm still planning on getting both, BUT if I were to really think about it, I (myself) would probably get Street Fighter X Tekken (1st). I just like the feeling of the gameplay a bit more, and the overall package seems better to me (plus no damn X-Factor). In terms of not knowing characters; I guess I'm lucky that I'm familiar with both sides, but even if I wasn't, I'd still get SFxT first; then UMvC3 sometime later. If you don't want both, you don't have to, but they really do play completely different and other than the "TAG" thing, there aren't that many big similarities. I'd give them both a try when ever they're available. At the end of the day graphics aren't that big of a deal, and I'm just glad to see that its colorful and vibrant.
Honestly, it would take a while, i suggest just looking them up on Youtube since it's easier when you can actually see them in action. This give a good sense for how the game plays: Overall if you like ridiculously crazy, fast paced gameplay that never feels too "serious," go for Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3. If you like a bit (a little bit) more strategic gameplay with a more controllable feel but still has all that flashy goodness, Street Fighter X Tekken is what you want. Both can be played "professionally" but UMvC3 feels a little less daunting. Graphically I prefer SFxT easily, but that's just my preference.
Im kinda leanin more toward umvc because i want to play with people like hulk,spiderman,thor,ironman, etc.but i just love how the graphics look on sf x tekken.i need to look at more videos
X-factor is the single most broken aspect of MvC3. Depending on how many characters on your team are left, the strength of x-factor will last longer. Upon activation, it grants a strength and speed boost to the entire team. It can be a great game changer. Look for some videos with Phoenix in them. When she is the last member of the team and she is forced into Dark Phoenix, when she activates x-factor she can destroy an entire team of 3 in less then 20 seconds
I'm not going to get either of them, most likely anyways. The only really fighting game with that sort of button mashing style is DBZ games. But if I had to choose one I would get Marvel VS. Capcom because of the cool characters. Not really a big fighting game fan.
Street fighter x tekken seems more of a real fighting game,and a harcore game type game,but marvel vs capcom seems more like a fun game,but you just smash buttons,tekken seems more strategic
