If you go to church that's fine, I personally just don't like the vibe I get. My belief is that going to church proves nothing, it's your actions that prove who you are. Maybe I'm like this because the church I used to go to was full of old people who were overly traditional, when I'm with people like that I just want to get out of there. Just let this off topic issue slide and just move on with our lives, if I have offended anyone in any way I apologize.
Again, my apologies. Me and my big mouth  Going back to the topic. What if people start camping out in November and it turned out the release date will be in December?
Apology accepted. thanks. back on topic.. that would be pretty funny if people camped out in November and it ended up being released in December.
I don't think people will camp out without knowing an exact release date. Sony is going to let us know next month anyways.
i agree that religion is personal, but people still have the right to express their opinions regarding the subject, just like any other subject. freedom of speech cant be limited (unless it contradicts with laws) or else it isnt freedom of speech. i myself am an atheist living in denmark. most of my aquantences are aswell. my mother is a prostestant however and we have discussions about the subject from time to time. besides the whole thing about that there being a god who is almighty, christianity (and most other religions) have gotten something right. the compassion for other peole. this however is more of an ethical/moral subject. all in all i dont think that religion provides anything that couldnt exist before (except some sort of guarantee for people that there is something post life. i do not belive that this is a valid reason for people to hand out tax money in order for that to exist. which in the end is all every religion is about. Money. every religion is a business, they cannot exist without the people contributing money for it. i am thinking that back in the day, religions were created by some nobles or whatever as some type of con. it eventually evolved and everybody who knew about this died, but the scam lived on. people today might have the right intentions, but somehow i cant shake the feeling that religion was founded by greedy con's. just my thoughts oh and On-topic (sry you guys) september is very unlikely. we should have heard somewthing official by now if that was case. october might be a possibility in japan, but still dubius in the us though
We are hearing about it next month. If Sony starts selling the Vita in November, then it's a good time to announce the dates.
Yeah, religion can be a great thing in moderation. It can help people cope with difficult situations and provide meaning for your life if you're a nub at existentialism. The problem arises when people get the idea that everyone else should believe the same way. Religion should be about a personal relationship with a diety / nature / philosophy, what have you - not what others should believe. This really applies to atheists / agnostics as well - just because you DON'T believe in something doesn't mean others shouldn't believe in anything. tl dr; Believe what you want, and let everyone else believe what they want - as long as no one's hurting anyone, it's ok. Personally, I don't have an ounce of belief in anything I can't physically observe. I'm completely indifferent to what others believe- the only problem is when certain religious groups try to force me to behave as they do - then we've got a serious problem. [/rant] Edit: Anyone think sacrificing a goat might help the Vita come out sooner? Might be worth a shot.
I've never had goat. Maybe they're really tasty - I mean they've got to be good for something or they would have surely been naturally selected by now. My great-aunt (I think?) has a couple goats. I can't really relate to em. They just stare at me and make noises. Now that I think about it, if you owned goats, you wouldn't have to mow the lawn. I guess that's pretty good. Dunno. Anyway back OT I'm glad there are a lot of good PS3 games coming out in the next few months (Catherine should arrive tomorrow! *excite*) - I'll have something to focus on while waiting for the announcement/ release of the Vita - It won't be like earlier this year waiting for the 3DS when there was a complete drought of releases. I'd assume there would be quite a few PS3 owners on the boards, we should have "launch parties" or something on the days the multiplayer games are released. Resistance 3 looks pretty sweet, anyone picking that up? When I was waiting for the C&C 3 release, I got involved in a clan and we'd spend hours playing classic C&C games - really helped with coping with the wait.
