Register to remove this ad, it's free! I've recently bought a PS Vita from Amazon, and it stated that it comes with a free download code for the game 'Escape Plan'. I've received the code, but I couldn't redeem it on my PS Vita. any idea why? is it because of the region? (I'm a Malaysian)

I've talked to Amazon, Sony US and Sony Malaysia. know what, they just keeps on giving me crap which I don't wanna hear. Amazon says that the code is only available in US, and this restriction is implemented by Sony US. how funny is that? they didn't even stated it in the promotional deal there, and now they say they ASSUME that all Amazon customers are from US. funny little bastards.

You have to activate your system. Go to settings (on your US account) and there should be an option like "system activation" or something like that.
