    Hey guys!

After downloading and playing a bunch of PSP games on my Vita, I decided to make this thread to list all the ones are noticeably better with the second stick.

As you probably know, the right stick on the Vita can be mapped to control the PSP D-Pad, Face buttons or Analog nub. Since the 1.80 Firmware update, you can now also map the right stick to more button combinations, including L+R and Start+Select.
This makes such a difference and playing these games years after I played them on PSP, feels brand new again!

Here's a list of games so far:
    • Resistance: Retribution (Face buttons to move camera)
    • Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker (D-pad to move camera)
    • Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops (D-pad to move camera)
    • Assassin's Creed: Bloodlines (Face buttons to move camera, hold L)
    • Syphon Filter: Dark Mirror (Face buttons to move camera)
    • Syphon Filter: Logan's Shadow (Face buttons to move camera)
    • Monster Hunter Freedom Unite (D-pad to move camera)
    • The 3rd Birthday (D-pad to move camera)
    • Ghostbusters (Face buttons to move camera)
    • GUN: Showdown (Face buttons to move camera)
    • Dissidia: Final Fantasy (D-pad to move camera)
    • Dissidia 012: Final Fantasy (D-pad to move camera)
    • Star Wars: Battlefront 2 (D-pad to move camera)
    • Star Wars: Battlefront Elite Squadron (D-pad to move camera)
    • Star Wars: Battlefront Renegade Squadron (D-pad to move camera)
    • Lord of Arcana (D-pad to move camera)
    • Phantasy Star Portable 2 (D-pad to move camera)
    • Everyday Shooter (Face buttons for shooting)
    • Midnight Club 3 & Midnight Club: LA (Map right stick to accelerate and reverse)
    • Medal of Honor: Heroes (Face buttons to move camera)
    • Medal of Honor: Heroes 2 (Face buttons to move camera)
    • Coded Arms (Face buttons to move camera)
    • Coded Arms: Contagion (Face buttons to move camera)
    • Tomb Raider: Anniversary (L + R to move camera)
    • Toy Story 3 (L + R to move camera)
    • Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters (L + R to move camera)
    • Persona 3 (L + R to move camera)
    • Daxter (L + R to move camera)
The list is still work in progress, if I find any more I'll add them, or you guys let me know if you know any!

Yeah, just boot up a PSP game, press anywhere on the screen for about 5 seconds and a menu pops up that lets you map the second analog, enable bilinear filtering and colour space to smooth and brighten graphics, and change the camera to front or back (for games like Invizimals).

I checked last night....too bad EA shut down the MOH Heroes servers otherwise I would have gotten one or both of them. Who needs servers anyway? Patch it up and lets play peer to peer over infrastructure oh well wishful thinking

Aww really? That's a shame. Could use XLink Kai and play through that I suppose. ;)
I'm still gonna download them if they got a price drop - I refuse to pay anything over £10 for a PSP game! :p

So does anyone else know any games that use the face buttons/dpad to aim/move the camera?

I tried the PS mini Nova. It works with the dual analog. I also went in and adjusted the sensitivity to be more sensitive and it works smooth like a true FPS on the handheld. Unfortunately the graphics are nothing to write home about and multiplayer which is available on IOS and android is omitted on the PS version which SUX a big fat..........cough drop....see what I did there? You thought I was gonna get explicit, get your minds out the gutter :D

I read that Star Wars Battlefront Elite Squadron also supports mapping the face buttons to the left analog stick. And multiplayer is still active on this. There is a video on youtube. Its available in some of the EU PSN stores but not the US (sux) So I may purchase this if the price is right and just transfer it from my nephews PS3. Holla

The multiplayer was working a few weeks ago when I first bought it, can't try it at the moment as there is PSN maintenance. Will try tomorrow! :D
