For me too. I don't want to spend extra on the plan and what not. I'm only afraid there's going to be some sweet setting for the 3g and wi-fi and I won't be able to get it.

Like i have said many times now - you don't have to subscribe to a 3G plan.
And with the 3G model you get a GPS.

Yes, I know. But you can't actually use the 3G without a plan. So if you're going to be paying an extra $50 anyway for the system, why wouldn't you get the plan? But since I'm not getting the 3G it's not a big deal for me.

Well you do get the chance to get 3G should you need or want it at some point and don't have to buy a whole new system should you regret not getting the 3G model.
Also should you use a portable wifi you could use the GPS in the 3G model.

Which is what I was saying. I would only be tempted to get the 3G WITHOUT a plan if there was something extra. Like you said, who would want to buy a whole new system.

To me, it all boils down to: I wouldn't go out with it, because:

I'm forever alone
Mexico is too dangerous to take it around with me

why they just didn't make the vita in 4g since it's the latest technology?

I have no idea...to be honest, these are the iPad plans...well the same plan used for that, and the iPad doesn't have 4G yet...

Probably AT&T thinks that these prices are too low for higher speed such as 4G, which if so is bull...these prices in my opinion are high.

Yeah, I do want the Wifi to save $50, but I may just get the 3G (I got exactly a month to make my mind)...I just don't want to have any regret...like if any apps or anything are released for the 3G Vita only or have 3G specific features, for example, if the Vita doesn't have GPS directions already, like a Tom Tom or Garmin, they may release one for it.

But then, though you can connect to the GPS without the 3G on, I bet the app, if it ever comes out will require an AT&T data plan or something.

Is there really any point of 3G? I can still cancel my WiFi Bundle and get 3G but I am not sure if it's worth it. I mean if it's only the internet I can use my phone's 3G network and turn on WiFi Hotspot to which I could connect from my Vita.
