Yesterday, Ubisoft teased gamers with the promise of revealing new Assassin’s Creed information within the next couple of days, but it looks like a Best Buy employee may have beaten them to the punch. Kotaku just received an email from a Best Buy worker who attached two images that are allegedly from their employee news section. The first photo is strictly informational, stating that Ubisoft will be pulling back the curtain on the next major installment in the Assassin’s Creed franchise on March 5th. The second image however, features a teaser image for AC3 with a new hero and setting. Check it out: If this picture is in fact authentic, then it looks like we’ll be taking a trip with another one of Desmond’s ancestors to the American Revolution. By the look of the character, he appears to be Native American and naturally equipped with an assortment of different weapons. This would be a huge departure for the series and a great way to breathe some new life and creativity into the franchise. Let us know what you think about an American Revolution setting for the next Assassin’s Creed in the comments below.
