So I think it's pretty much official now, what are your thoughts on this... is Uncharted GA a good enough title (bearing in mind it will have no multiplayer or co-op) to merit spending £35+ / $50+ on? I'm really torn on this now, I had high hopes it would have it and I think i've said if it doesn't I wont buy it. Are you buy this day one for the campaign regardless? or will you wait and see what the reviews are?
Yes i am getting this. Not really much of a multiplayer guy in the first place. To me some games are like watching a movie exept you play the character(s).
but they're charging 360/PS3 like prices for it, they should atleast cut the price to make up for the lack of multiplayer! And how can you say your not much of a multiplayer guy Patrick, I see you on steam 24/7 :angry: multiplayer is what keeps us coming back for more. Campaign is a few hours of running around on your own against a couple of mindless AI bots... the only bit I enjoy in campaigns are the cinematic scenes.
If its full price, honestly maybe i wont. Uncharted single player is awesome as hell obviously, but they've shown so much dedication towards multiplayer for Uncharted 3 so not having it in the Vita game kind of feels like a bust to me. How I see it: Uncharted (Naughty Dog) has said "hey we're a great single player game, but now multiplayer is going to be huge as FUCK too and we know that a good chunk are going to buy it for just multiplayer as well."
Uhh i dont think i mkght get this,well at least not with my own money,i mite ask sumone to get this for me as a present.this will be my 3rd choiceof game,1.modnation racers 2.lbp.3uncharted, withoutmultiplayer agame has no replay value.but i MIGHT get this so i dont have 2 cartoon looking games and can have ahardcore shooting game.always have to have a hardcoregame.
At least with little big planet and modnation racers ucan play onlinewhen youre done so you can stay entertained with your game,but with this when you beat it youre done for good,so i proly dont get it,unless....................the story mode is long and not short.
it's not a news post, more a discussion thread... this is a forum aswell y'know Raj, it's not a blog/news site :angry: and Bust, i'm surprised not to see any FPS games in your top 3! Like Killzone, Resistance or possibly COD!? And I agree, without multiplayer it doesn't have any replay value... so is a couple of hours fun worth $50.... REALLY?
Well I heard it does have a lot of collectables and what not. To be honest, I'ma bit of a sucker for games with good campaigns. One thing I do regret though is buying Assassin's Creed Bloodlines for my PSP. I play for like 3 hours overall, including me replaying a bit, and now I don't even know where it is. But Uncharted seems really beautiful, has some cool looking gun fights and stuff so I think it's worth my money. I'm going to pick it up. Could it even be possible online is a DLC or something like that?
yeah they could possibly add multiplayer in with a patch like they did with killzone liberation on PSP
I can only play through a game once, then after that I really enjoy mp, I feel like no matter how good I am, there's always someone better than you, so its a challenge?
Its not just that. If you follow the story of the game, then this is a must. People seem to like MGS alot even though theres no MP.
In Sony's uncharted GA page it still says NA. Mabye they are waiting for a online multiplayer reveal between sep-nov. If u know sony bend, then u know that they are one of the best psp multiplayer makers. They released around 5 games on the psp and everysingle one of them had online multiplayer w/ voice chat and console quality features.
MGS: PW had so much gameplay that it didn't need MP. I don't know about the others, PW 's the only one I've played :$
