Currently, no. In the future, perhaps.

The Vita has to accessory ports, so an adapter might be feasible. Certainly future Vita iterations will have TV-out built in.

simple answer is yes all devices can connect to a TV so sony will try to squeeze money out of it. :)

Yeah, if with enough demand, they would probably release something that can make it connect to the TV. It would also be easier for people to record and make videos off their Vita gameplay if so too.

Third party sources will most definitely figure something out. So officially no you cant but just give it time.

Imagine if the use remote play, not to get the PS3's picture on to the VITA, but the other way round, get the picture of the VITA on the PS3.
I know it sounds a little off, but you never know. Lol

Its a feature thats in pretty high demand, so its possible that future models will have it. However, Sony's reason for not including sounds pretty valid to me. They don't want the Vita to overtake the PS3, and if you had a T.V. output then it could quite feasably beat out its own brother, which would be a disaster.

exactly what bankston said. why not then just play PS3 if you're hooking up the vita to your tv as a controller? the vita is supposed to be portable, so yeah.

Cause the PS3 is 5 yr old technology...it is cheaper to make it now. Most people who has a PS3 also has one, so it is not as much in demand. The Vita is a whole new system and newer technology....no one has a Vita yet and when people get one after launch, there are lots more Vita sales for the future...you got people waiting on more games for it, etc.

Actually not a bad idea- imagine you want to play uncharted GA but you feel like a bit of a better experience so you connect to ps3 to give a bettr effect of the game

exactly.... so why don't they want a new technology to beat a 5 years old technology???
well, i disagree with that... they can say they don't want the psvita to beat the ps4 ( only if they are going to do that... cause i've been hearing some rumors about ps4)
if not. then its gonna be like, we using an updated ps2-portable
cause its the ps2 that i'm 100% sure that it wont beat the ps3...
