I've been playing Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 quite often and I've started noticing that the buttons are getting abit loose. and i am worried about the buttons might eventually break.

i actually don't know if i am over pressing the buttons too hard or not. i mean... when i'm playing MvC3 and get heat up i sometimes press the buttons too hard and i think that causes the buttons to loosen up.

is there a way to fix it? or are there videos that shows durability test for the keys/buttons?

I would imagine a handheld like the Vita is built for durability since it's not the same as a console game controller you can just replace on a whim, and even most of those usually last awhile. I would also think it's normal for the buttons to feel "loser" over time, since your breaking it in. Kinda like new stiff shoes. Even after they're worn in, they still function properly.

That said, I would still be careful about "pounding" the buttons. I know that can be hard when your in the thick of battle, but if you remain conscious of it, I think you'll be fine. I know one of the other members mentioned dropping his while getting out of a car awhile back, and despite some cosmetic damage, the Vita still worked, so yeah... despite the intimidating electronic wonder of the Vita, it's not a cheap, easy to break device.

Your welcome. I completely understand your concern. I'm very OCD when it comes to any of my electronics. I've personally been more concerned about my touchscreen crapping out because... well, me and touchscreens haven't gotten along too well in the past. But I find as long as I remain conscious of it, I'm less inclined to tap as hard even when I'm trying to beat the clock or something.

As far as repairs go, I don't really know much about repairing that kind of thing. I suppose it's possible but things like that are usually more trouble than they're worth. Did you get any kind of warranty when you bought it?

Regardless, I still wouldn't worry too much. As I said to the Gamestop employee when he asked me about the $80 warranty, "It's not like I'm going to be playing tennis with it." :)

Phew, good thing I didn't buy this game. ;) Basically, just do what Niko said. Just try to make an effort to not totally destroy your Vita and I think you'll be good for a long time to come! :)

i know it sounds silly .. but in future updates .. they have it where you can bluetooth your ps3 controller to the vita .. that way if you do like smashing buttons you can feel at easy cause you can do it on your ps3 controller and just put your ps vita on a cradle or something ...i wish they would of done this already ... like i said .. sony has been a huge fail with shit lately

*Before Chris plays* - Beautiful brand new looking Vita.
*After Chris plays* - Completely destroyed, cracked screen, back touchpad non functional missing circle button and left analog stick.

I had similar feelings of uncertainty when I got my PSP at launch... After years of heavy use, it's still in pristine condition

I pound on the buttons like a madman for UMvC3 and Blazblue. I wouldn't worry about it.
