Would you *hack* your Vita if it was do-able?

Yeah, I was more talking about making your own themes, changing animation values on the interface, running emulators etc etc. Pirating games are for idiots only.

YES! I get fed up of seeing posts like "I thought the point of jailbreaking was for the free apps", I simply answer them with -_- Its about tweaking the device to an individual's preference like you said

LEDs draw very little power, you won't notice a difference. I did it with my ds lite, looked pretty good, and no signs of the battery dying any faster.

And the people who do this shit don't give a damn about warrentys. In most cases if you know how to properly mod your device, you can fix it as well.

I'd definitely hack my Vita. Every single electronic device i've owned has been "hacked" to some degree haha. Also, I void warranties.

i'd do it to play emulated games like ps1 , n64 , maybe even psp games ... cause honestly i don't wanna spend fricking 20-30 dollars on a game that has been out for a few years for a old portable console. especially on psp games i already own!

if anyone wants vita games for free. . . then no good .. shame on you!!

I wouldn't mind hacks to emulate PS 1 & 2 games but if it's a hack to get free vita games.. well I'm against it, this will surely turn off developers, as a result less support for vita and then... RIP just like what happened with the PSP

i would since i live in egypt and games arrive here rly late, like a month or two.
Besides due to customs they're frikkin expensive each game is like 400 or 300 L.E

I might, if I would still have the option to access ps network, but I guess I wouldn't?
Like railside270, consoles I own and used to own were pretty much always hacked in some way. I always considered the originals too restrictive(word? Heeeeelp English isn't my first language) and people who hack devices can do some pretty amazing things with them.
I always prefered hard mods because I didn't have to redo everything after an update, but I think for now I will keep my Vita untouched.
After a year or so I will probably be able to throw it around the room like it's nothing though, then I might hack it if it's possible :D
If PS2 emulation were possible, and my favorite oldies-but-goodies were playable, I'd hack in a heartbeat harhar.

I would under a few conditions, being able to use a sim card from a cell phone to use the data, psp backwards compatible games and a better web browser experience
