@#$^87&()_ are yall thinking, you know what go ahead and hack Vita.
Go ahead and I hope Sony bricks your system, closes your PSN Account, and Deletes all your trophies including and Games Data uploaded.

Just remember to upload the video of that happening so I can laugh at you all.

I still dont understand your hatred towards " hacking" as a whole. I can understand if its for malicious purposes but what about 3rd party software?

I wouldnt dare do it unless, like cupcakes said, i had a second vita coz the online features are key to the vita itself.

I think it's worthwhile if you have a second Vita..and it's safe. Also the content has to be there, which of course would be knowing the PSP's hackability. But as said above online functionality is important, and we don't need no bricked Vitas! (poor things).

Personally, I wouldn't. My PS Vita was an investment (one that has given me what is possibly my favourite console of all time. Yes, really) and I would much prefer to support Sony and the developers of Vita games, than save myself a few bucks. Maybe it's because I'm aspiring game designer/developer myself, but I have always been generally opposed to video game piracy. Before someone mentions that hacking does not equal piracy, in my mind it does. Particularly on the Vita. Why would anyone hack a Vita to run homebrew programs that they probably already have running in some fashion on their iPhones or Android devices? And at the very least, if the Vita were cracked, developers would likely begin to run for the hills, and that's a scenario I do not want to see.

yeah seriously ... not all hacking is to pirate games, there is no need to bash on other and wish bad on them, people just want to customize there console well ..... umm cause they paid for it!!!

as far as gaming goes ... if people pirate lets say ps vita games ... then companies will see that people are downloading them rather then buying them ... which means sales will drop which will result to the ps vita becoming a console with a few games cause companies will stop investing time and money to make games for it

I know that, but as someone who wants to be a video game designer. I would love it if people BROKE THE LAW just to play my game.

I wonder if that satisfaction will pay for your food, your bills, your rent etc. When people pirate software, you are effectively making the game makers life worse. Bit exaggerated but its what it boils down to

60 dollars is a small price to pay to know that some one is enjoying my creation. When It comes down to it Id live on the streets If I had to, its not about the money, its about the game.

yeah but $60 x 'how many people pirate the software' = fuck tonne of money loss. You are right in the sense that its not all about the money but you need the money to make the game in the first place.
